This privacy notice tells you how KBR Management Limited handles the personal information you share with us when you make an enquiry or appoint us to represent you on an insurance claim. We are the data controller for this information.

What we collect

• Your name, address, phone number and email
• Information about the property or business affected by the loss
• Details of your insurance policy and any correspondence with the insurer
• Photographs, invoices, receipts and other evidence relevant to the claim
• Payment details where we invoice you directly

How we use it

• To assess whether we can help with your claim
• To prepare, present and negotiate your claim with the insurer
• To communicate with contractors, surveyors and other professionals engaged on your claim
• To meet our regulatory and legal obligations
• To administer our own business, including record keeping and complaints handling

Lawful basis

We process your information on the basis of your consent when you enquire, and on the basis of contract once you appoint us. Some processing is done to comply with our legal obligations as an FCA regulated firm.

Who we share it with

We share information only with parties who need it to progress your claim. That includes your insurer and their loss adjuster, contractors and surveyors we instruct with your agreement, our regulators where required, and our professional advisers. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for marketing without your specific consent.

How long we keep it

We keep client files for six years from the date the claim is closed, in line with FCA record keeping requirements. Enquiry data that does not lead to appointment is kept for up to twelve months.
